on her Instagram that came as a shock to many of her fans. The quote, credited to comedian Rodney Dangerfield, says,"I found there was only one way to look thin: hang out with fat people." In her caption, Spears wrote,"I wish I could have chosen the nannies for my children . . . my dancers . . . I mean if I had Christina Aguilera's dancers I would have looked extremely small . . .
"We will not be perfect in pursuing positive body image, and there will be lapses because this message is so ingrained. I think we need to have that self-compassion in order to move forward with challenging fatphobia.", people were quick to point out that this was not the way to do it. One commenter wrote,"No need to put another woman down to feel better about yourself. Focus on your healing," and others called out the fatphobia directly.
