Police in Spain arrested a British man accused of raping a woman at a popular resort after he repeatedly resisted arrest and headbutted one of the officers on Friday.
The man reportedly resisted arrest, putting up such a fight that he ended up headbutting one of the officers who had been called to the scene,A friend of the alleged victim reported the assault to a receptionist at the hotel who called the police around 7 p.m. Friday evening. It was not immediately clear if the suspect has already appeared in court and whether he has been remanded in custody or released on bail pending an ongoing investigation.
