Holly Walton and Lauren Bray mocked Asian passengers by putting on a caricatured Chinese accent and making slant-eyed gestures. Walton was recorded saying ‘give me wine’ in a mocking Chinese accent, before going on to pull her eyelids.
Outraged colleagues said the pair were mocking a Chinese family on the BA2157 flight from London Gatwick who apparently didn’t speak much English. Holly Walton was filmed making the racist gesture One Asian BA colleague said she had been ‘left reeling’ by the clip, which had been viewed more than a million times. Another said the women were ‘deliberately laughing’ at the family which ‘sends out the worst message possible’.
