Britain’s Got Talent is set to return to screens next week for its 16th series, ITV has now announced.

Two episodes will air over the April 15-16 weekend with auditions from Salford in Greater Manchester and London. Comedian Axel Blake was crowned the 2022 winner and performed at the Royal Albert Hall in front of the Earl and Countess of Wessex in the audience. It comes as the show was recently slammed after judges Simon and Bruno took part in a prank involving a crossbow on stage during the Manchester auditions.

In a video obtained by The Sun, Simon can be seen lying on the stage with an arrow sticking out of his chest.
