As the performance came to an end, the crowd chanted for the four judges to hit the Golden Buzzer, but they responded by informing the crowd that they had used their quota throughout the series.
As Simon, Amanda, Alesha and Bruno conferred, they eventually pressed the Golden Buzzer together, making Musa the eighth contestant to progress automatically to the live semi-finals. As Musa fell to the floor under the golden confetti, the judges approached on stage to congratulate him, with Simon saying it was “one of the most amazing things” he had ever seen and that the reaction from the crowd was unprecedented.
