Britain's Got Talent has been pulled from its usual Saturday night slot next weekend, with ITV bosses deciding to air a James Bond film instead of the talent show
ITV has decided to remove Britain's Got Talent from its schedule next weekend, in an attempt to avoid a 'ratings war' with the Eurovision Song Contest. On Saturday, May 11, the popular talent show will be replaced by the Bond film Casino Royale, with BGT set to return on Sunday night, May 12.
So far, four golden buzzers have been awarded by the judging panel. Judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli have already been left speechless by the talent showcased across the country. In the most recent episode, Simon Cowell awarded a golden buzzer to Japanese dance troupe Cyberagent Legit, who will now proceed straight to the semi-finals.
Representing the UK in Eurovision this year is Years and Years star Olly Alexander, who'll be performing his song Dizzy. However, according to the betting odds, he's ninth most-likely to win the competition.
