A British family decided they'd had enough of gruelling work schedules and expensive bills and decided to relocate to Spain – where they are now living in 'paradise' for a fraction of the cost
A British family has decided to trade in the dreary UK weather for a sunnier life in Europe, and they're now saving an impressive £1,600 a month as a result.
John, along with his wife and their one-year-old child, would often travel to Spain to visit his spouse's family. They quickly fell in love with the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle and decided to move there, hoping for a brighter, more affordable life. John said: "The work-life balance is better, I saw people enjoying more freedom to spend time with family and friends. Spanish people actually enjoy their country and it's much more affordable in comparison to the UK. I am now living a healthier lifestyle and have more time, as well as money, to enjoy day-to-day life. It's like being on holiday all year, it's paradise."
Just a month in, they were savouring the high life. Now, John has taken to social media to spread his know-how as a relocation adviser. He declared: "I never understood how much of a rip-off it was living in the UK until I left."
