Briscoe will replace 2017 Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr., who announced he will retire at the end of the season.Briscoe, the 2021 Cup Series rookie of the year, signed a multi-year contract to replace Truex in the No. 19 Toyota. Truex announced he would retire from full-time competition at the end of the 2024 season. Sponsor Bass Pro Shops will remain with the team to back Briscoe.
