Travellers and holidaymakers have been unable to book rooms at the CBD hotel for dates beyond September, leaving employees and potential guests uncertain about its future.
Hilton Brisbane management insist the luxury hotel is undertaking “routine lease negotiations” although it has quietly stopped taking bookings beyond the end of September.
Those who tried to book a room were met with an error message on the hotel’s website, while some were told the hotel was fully booked.Brisbane Times / William Davis Hilton general manager Chris Partridge told this masthead the decision was made because of “routine negotiations”, adding that bookings would probably reopen this week.
