Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games a ‘once-in-a-century opportunity’ for Qld
Former Brisbane mayor Graham Quirk says the 2032 Olympic Games are a “once-in-a-century opportunity” and believes a new stadium would have a “long-lasting legacy” for Queenslanders.
It heard the Miles government had begun a ‘shadow review’ before former lord mayor Graham Quirk had finalised a 60-day venue review the premier asked him to lead.“This is a once-in-a-century opportunity that we have,” Mr Quirk told Sky News Australia.
