The property hit the market a month ago guiding between $15 million to $16.5 million, and sold to an unidentified buyer for within the guide.
Beyond the double-height entrance hall lined in imported travertine, the house features multiple living areas and resort-style living with heated pool and spa, theatre and showroom garage.The property was sold by Forbes’ Robert Fletcher to an unidentified buyer. Mr Fletcher declined to comment.Complete with striking facade and turret, the six-bedroom was guiding $13.3 million to $14.3 million; however, the final sale price remains undisclosed, and the property is yet to settle.
Mr Cox, who owns private equity fund Imperium Capital Group, purchased the Victorian Italianate mansion in 2006 for $5.71 million.
