After the rain ends early Thursday, temperatures will be mild with high temps in parts of South Jersey reaching the low 70s.

A few tenths of an inch of snow might fall in some areas of northwestern New Jersey on Wednesday, forecasters say.Sussex, northern Warren, northwestern Morris and much of Passaic counties should get less than a half-inch of snow. Temperatures are expected to rise a bit overnight and any snow or mixed precipitation will turn to plain rain by around 1 a.m.

Very light snow showers are possible on what will be a chilly Saturday, but it won’t amount to much, forecasters says.
