The storms have gone and winter is returning. Lingering showers will be possible through the first part of the day, then the afternoon will bring gradually clearing skies. The story of the day though will be the colder air moving in on a strong northerly breeze.

By the heart of the afternoon, we'll be lucky to see daytime highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. Once the sun goes down, it will turn COLD! For most north of the immediate coast tonight, temperatures could drop to or below the freezing mark, which is why a freeze warning will be going into effect. The winds won't be as strong compared to Monday afternoon, but the breeze will make it feel that much colder. Along the coast, lows will range mainly in the mid to upper 30s. After a freezing start to our St. Patrick's Day we'll only warm to the mid and upper 50s for highs. Thankfully, it shouldn't be too bad as we check in with mostly sunny skies. Lows will head back into the 30s Tuesday night as lows range about 2-5 degrees warmer than Monday night. Wednesday will then begin a warming trend we'll see continue into the weekend. Highs for our midweek will be in the low to mid 60s under a mix of sun and clouds. Then we return to the 70s Thursday before highs come in around 80 Friday as skies stay dry. Lows will also continue to moderate with 50s returning by Thursday night.Baldwin Co. deputy resigns during internal investigation tied to Spanish Fort sting A deputy with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office has resigned while under investigation for possible involvement in a recent anti-human trafficking operation iThe man accused of killing a Theodore mother and her two children made his first court appearance Friday on newly filed capital murder charges that could lead tIt was an online ad that offered an opportunity for sex at a price. And it came with one, a costly price for those who engaged the ad, made a deal and showed upAuthorities say the bodies of a missing Theodore mother and her two children were discovered Wednesday in Baldwin County, buried together in a wooded area off DA Semmes business owner who was shot five times during a January encounter with police has filed a federal lawsuit naming the officers involved and accusing the
