Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey cast alongside American Horror Story star in LGBTQ+ drama
is set in 1950s Washington D.C and will follow the story of the handsome and charismatic Hawkins Fuller .
Used to a life of avoiding emotional entanglements, Fuller's world is turned upside down when he meets Tim Laughlin , a young man brimming with idealism and religious faith. The pair begin a romance at a challenging time, in the shadow of McCarthy-era Washington. Fuller and Laughlin cross paths repeatedly over the course of four decades, navigating their way through historical events such as the Vietnam War protests of the 1960s, the drug-fuelled disco hedonism of the 1970s and the AIDS crisis of the 1980s.Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images
