A source close to the Prime Minister said that while only a small number of issues remained to be agreed with Brussels, “the closer we get to the end, the knottier those issues become”. It is unclear whether any deal would be subject to a vote in Parliament and it may be up to the discretion of the Government whether or not to hold a vote.they thought that Mr Sunak would put his agreement to a vote only if he was confident that nearly all Conservative MPs would back him. “If the DUP doesn’t agree and there are 70 Conservatives joining them then he will try to avoid a vote,” they predicted.
