Veteran spotter Brett Griffin will serve as the spotter for Austin Dillon and the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing team at Michigan as Brandon Benesch begins a three-race suspension.
RCR issued a statement explaining that the team plans to appeal the penalties that were announced on Wednesday.
According to the NASCAR Roster Portal, Brett Griffin, a veteran spotter and co-host of the Dirty Mo Media Podcast Door Bumper Clear, will fill-in for the suspended Benesch this weekend in the FireKeepers Casino 400.
