Dubose scored on a pair of 7-yard runs, a 1-yard sneak and raced for a 31-yarder as the Bears improved to 12-1. Brennan will face three-time reigning state champion Austin Westlake in a state quarterfinal next weekend, Westlake defeated San Benito 44-7 on Friday at Alamo Stadium. Dubose’s biggest score came through the air when he connected with his twin, Aaron, for 24 yards on fourth-and-12 that made the score 27-17 with 5:48 left in the fourth quarter.Lake Travis, which was led by Nico Hamilton’s 168 rushing yards, finished 7-5.Brennan avenged a 42-17 loss against Lake Travis in last year’s state quarterfinals. Lake Travis is 14-0 against San Antonio area schools in the postseason since 2016 entering Friday’s game.
