The Stormers have suffered a huge blow with the news that star Springbok Damian Willemse has been ruled out for the rest of the season through injury.
Willemse was desperate to play in Saturday's United Rugby Championship quarter-final against Edinburgh in Cape Town, but did further damage to the injury at training on Friday. Willemse has now been taken for scans that will confirm the extent of the damage, but early indications are that he faces six to eight weeks on the sidelines.
"It also gives the talented Sacha Mngomezulu an opportunity to show what he can do when he comes on."
