Saugus High School is home to about 2,400 students and is located in the heart of the Santa Clarity Valley, near Interstate 5.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department was looking for an individual Thursday morning they suspect opened fire at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California, injuring an"unknown" number of victims, authorities said.The high school is on lockdown, as are nearby high schools.
Rosedell and Highland Elementary are two of the other nearby schools that have been placed on lockdown. If you live in neighborhood s anywhere near Saugus High, PLEASE LOCK DOORS and stay inside. If you see suspect, male dark clothing, in backyards, etc. CALL 911Undersheriff Tim Murakami tweeted that"several" people have been injured, though their status is not currently known.
