Kenny Kunene to be sworn in as City of Joburg councillor
The Patriotic Alliance's Kenny Kunene will be sworn in to the Johannesburg council, executive mayor Thapelo Amad confirmed.
"Reports from the area indicate that a vehicle had entered the Covid-19 informal settlement at about 23:00 last night. Shortly thereafter, gunshots were heard and the vehicle left the area," Potelwa said. The case was postponed to 4 August for pending matters, including Maughan and Downer's application to have the private prosecution struck off the court roll.
