First three months of the year sees more than 6 000 murdered in SA
In just three months, 6 083 people were murdered in South Africa. The high number of murders between January and March this year represents a 22% increase from the same period last year when 4 976 murders were recorded.
Two senior admin clerks at a Free State court have been arrested for allegedly defrauding the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development of R1 million. The fraud allegedly took place over a two-year period.
