Former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has built a commanding lead over Vice President Leni Robredo in the race for the presidency, getting over 21 million votes in the initial partial and unofficial tally of votes released by the Commission on Elections covering nearly two-thirds of precincts as of 10 p.m. Monday.

Marcos garnered 21,725, 982 votes, over double those tallied for VP Robredo, who had 10,282,280 in the unofficial returns as of 9:32 p.m. from 66.10% of precincts and about 37,662,340 votes cast, according to the Comelec. In far third for President was Sen. Manny Pacquiao with 1,974,234 votes. For vice president, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio was solidly in front with 21,399,912 votes, over triple that of Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, who had 6,506,755. Third was Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III with 5,869,972.

Among senatorial candidates, actor Robin Padilla stayed on top of the “Magic 12” with 17,851,883 votes, followed by Antique Rep. Loren Legarda with 17,151,654 and broadcaster Raffy Tulfo with 16,462,180. Also in the top 12 for the Senate seats were Sen. Win Gatchalian, Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero, former Public Works Secretary Mark Villar, Taguig-Pateros Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano, Sen. Joel Villanueva, Sen. Migz Zubiri, Sen. Risa Hontiveros, former Senator JV Ejercito, and former Senator Jinggoy Estrada.The results were sourced from the Commission on Elections’ transparency server, which is housed at the University of Santo Tomas .
