CasterSemenya finally has a victory in her long-running dispute with World Athletics, since regulations requiring her to take hormone treatment to decrease her natural testosterone levels were introduced in 2018. Is it too late in her career though?

Double Olympic 800m champion Caster Semenya on Tuesday won her appeal at the European Court of Human Rights to challenge whether her rights had been infringed in terms of requiring women with natural high testosterone to reduce those levels through medication.

The 32-year-old Semenya was born with differences of sexual development, which led to her not being allowed to compete in events between 400m and a mile without taking testosterone-reducing drugs.
