BREAKING: Former Pirates star joins Cape Town City

Soon after Makaringe left Orlando Pirates earlier this month, reports started circulating that he would be linking up with the Citizens, but the club have kept quiet throughout, up to this point.It is another major acquisition from the club whose offices are a stone's throw away from the infamous Long Street in Cape Town, after they signed Haashim Domingo, a returnee to the local scene following an unpleasant experience with Raja Casablanca in Morocco.
He is often credited for his discipline, professionalism and work ethic, having never sulked about his situation at the Soweto giants but rather knuckling down and trying to win back the starting berth.
