KickOff previously reported that 23-year-old Matsheke and 22-year-old Lesako were set to spend the upcoming season with the Dube Birds
in hopes of getting more experience in the top-flight as Swallows look to establish a younger squad, subject to final agreements. Both players are graduates of Kaizer Chiefs' development team and recently returned from successful loan spells at Uthongathi FC. Amakhosi and Swallows have enjoyed a fruitful working relationship tracing back to the successful transfer of 2020/21 Dstv Premiership Defender of the Season Njabulo Ngcobo, and more recently, the trio of Dillan Solomons, Kamohelo Mahlatsi and George Matlou.
