NRL: Along with Reece Walsh, Kevin Walters has agreed to the terms of a contract extension.
Broncos powerbrokers are reportedly set to hand coach Kevin Walters a three-year contract upgrade that will see his tenure extend until the end of 2026.

New to Kayo?“More positive news out of Red Hill, Kevvie has agreed to an extension and an upgrade, he was signed for this year and next year already,” Hooper said. “The style of football he’s trying to implement, Kevvie can coach. He’s shown improvement, not only in the style of game the Broncos are playing, but also the way he’s gone and recruited tactically.”NRL360 host Braith Anasta also hailed the turnaround of attitudes regarding Walters’ tenure, with doubts consistently lingering surrounding his abilities as a coach.
“There were a lot of questions marks and conjecture over whether the players respected him when he first started,” Anasta said.“He’s his own style, he doesn’t fit into that cookie cutter style a lot of coaches do, and I think for some young kids coming through, that was an upset to them,” Kent said.
