A 31-year-old man was shot outside a motorcycle club in Camden earlier this month. He was found in the back of an SUV in Philadelphia two day later.
The arrest in the killing of a man found in an SUV in Philadelphia earlier this month came after police tracked the case to a shootingInvestigators determined Jody Spence, 31, was shot once in the head outside of the Wheels of Soul Motorcycle Club on the 800 block of Princess Avenue in Camden at about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 6, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.
Investigators then learned of a second phone associated with Spence and used its “Find My Phone” app to locate the device in Camden near where he had been shot, according to an affidavit of probable cause outlining the murder charge against Michael Field. Authorities then poured over additional surveillance and identified Field as the shooter, authorities said.
