Forecasters with the National Weather Service expect triple digits for the next several days, at least until Thursday.

Zoo spokesperson Cyle Perez said they offer many ways for guests to stay cool, including extending its hours on Saturdays to close at 9 p.m.An excessive heat wave warning remains in effect for the San Antonio-area and the Interstate 35 corridor this holiday weekend, though temperatures are expected to “cool” down late next week.
