Alvin Community College licensed vocational nursing graduate Adrien Shipman, right, receives a pin from instructor Tori McTaggart during a May 12 ceremony. Twenty-one graduates received pins, lit ceremonial lamps and recited the nurse’s pledge at the ceremony.
