The Bravo Fire burning in Coconino County near Bellemont has some residents preparing to leave their homes on Thursday afternoon.

The fire was first reported on June 6 around 11 a.m. after the Arizona National Guard said it's believed to have sparked late June 5. The fire is burning on Camp Navajo, a training site for all U.S. military branches.The fire has grown to 1,000 acres and containment hasn't been detailed by the authorities. Camp Navajo is closed to all non-essential personnel.Some residents in the area are told to be ready to leave their homes if things get worse.

Soggy Bottom Ranch and all residences off of Naval Observatory Road are also in SET Status," the Coconino County Sheriff's Office said.The Arizona National Guard detailed the response to the fire."Equipment and manning consist of approximately 150 firefighters, 8 air tankers, an air attack air asset, lead plane, 4 helicopters, as well as multiple engines, 2 Hotshot crews and 2 Hand crews," the agency said.The cause of the fire is under investigation.
