Orlando Arcia, Ozzie Albies and Travis d'Arnaud each homered and Spencer Strider won his sixth consecutive decision as the streaking Atlanta Braves beat the visiting Miami Marlins 6-3 on Sunday.
The Braves swept the three-game series and have won eight games in a row. Miami has lost nine of its 10 meetings against Atlanta this season and has been outscored 83-29 over that stretch.
After combining for 11 first-inning runs in the previous two games, the Braves came up empty on Sunday after Marcell Ozuna grounded out with the bases loaded to end the opening frame. Alcantara retired nine straight batters before Atlanta moved ahead with three runs in the fifth inning. Michael Harris II singled with one out, stole second base, moved to third on a throwing error and tied the game on Alcantara's wild pitch.
