THOUSANDS of NHS heroes from across the nation have said ‘thank you’ to Fabulous for the care packages sent to them. Since we launched the campaign six weeks ago, we’ve delivered 20,000 goody bags …
Here, some of the frontline workers reveal the inspiring reasons behind requesting goody bags and what a difference receiving them has made to their teams...The team have had to adept to very different ways of workingShe says: "Until recently this was a private hospital, catering mostly for elective surgery.
"I am incredibly proud of my colleagues who are all doing their bit during this crisis and also the NHS staff that have had to join us in a massive transition in the working environment."Many of us have shed tears but none of us have given up. It would be so nice for them to receive a goody bag to let them know that they are appreciated.
"I am very grateful and on behalf of the staff I send a big 'thank you' to the Fabulous team, those who put the packages together and the suppliers who donated the products."Laura says her team are suffering with bad skin at the moment "Thank you so much for the Care Packages and the kindness - it is greatly appreciated. It has put a smile on everyone’s faces today."Sophie's team said the bags were great for boosting morale
She says: "I am a nurse in North Wales and we are always hearing about these amazing companies supporting trusts in England but not much seems to come through to us and we are fighting just as hard.19She says: "Thank you very much for the care packages, they were very much appreciated on the unit."
