Brand New Xiaomi SU7 Dies After Just 24 Miles And Can’t Be Fixed By Dealer

The EV shut down on the side of the highway and the driver could no longer shift gears

The owner of the electric sedan wants to have the car immediately replaced with a new one. A delivery center for the technology giant was unable to determine the cause of the issue. Xiaomi is believed to have produced just over 10,000 SU7s in recent months. The Xiaomi SU7 might be selling like hotcakes in China , but numerous owners have experienced issues shortly after taking delivery of the compelling new EV.

A second message then appeared, stating the drive system was faulty and the car couldn’t shift between drive and reverse. Left stranded on the side of the road, Mr. Wen had to call for a tow truck to return the car to the delivery center. According to sources from China, including Autohome and Carnewschina, the dealer center was unable to diagnose the problem and informed the owner that it needs to be sent back to the factory to find out what’s wrong. The owner doesn’t want the car repaired.
