Boys Soccer: Morris County Tournament semifinals roundup for Oct. 17
Giuseppe Milelli netted the game-winning goal with 12:30 remaining for top-seeded Delbarton, No. 2 in the NJ.com Top 20, in its 1-0 win in the semifinals of the Morris County Tournament in Mount Olive.Liam McElderry recorded the assist on the goal. Delbarton has now made the final round of the county tournament every year since 2011 and has not lost a game to a New Jersey opponent all season.
Andrew Porras-Nunez scored the game-winning goal in double overtime for seventh-seeded Hanover Park in its 1-0 win over sixth-seeded Morris Knolls in Mount OliveJustin Varsalone recorded the assist on the dramatic goal. Hanover Park completed its amazing run to the as the seventh seed after upsetting second-seeded Mount Olive in the quarterfinals. The Hornets have won nine straight games since their only loss of the season to Parsippany Hills on Sept. 18.
