One of South Jersey's most successful programs ever makes its first Top 20 appearance in '23

The 2023 Moorestown team may be making its first Top 20 appearance this season, but this proud South Jersey program sure knows its way around the neighborhood. For the better part of this 21st century, Moorestown has been a fixture in both the state tournament and Top 20, actually finishing No. 1 in the Star-Ledger rankings in 2001 after beating Summit, 8-3, in the overall state tournament final in only its eighth season as a varsity program. Doug Ingersoll, Andy Hipple, Joe Canuso, Matt Dalon and Matt Slotman were among the many standouts on that precedent-setting club.
