Three boys aged 11 and 12 arrested after 14-year-old threatened with knife for his gold chain in 'terrifying ordeal'
Three boys aged 11 and 12 have been arrested after a 14 year-old was threatened at knifepoint for a gold chain he was wearing, police have revealed.
The teenage boy - said to have been targeted in the Old Trafford area of Manchester on Sunday - wasn't injured and the force said 'no property was stolen'. In a statement, GMP said: "At around 5.30pm yesterday , a report was made to GMP involving an incident of an attempted robbery in Old Trafford. "Three boys between the ages of 11 and 12 have been arrested on suspicion of personal robbery and remain in custody for questioning by GMP's Trafford Neighbourhood Crime Team."
