Boy injured and police car vanished after mass brawl involving '100 teens' at Broughty Ferry beach
A police car was vandalised and a teen boy suffered a serious facial inury in a mass brawl at Broughty Ferry beach, it has ben revealed. Dundee Live told earlier today how the shocking incident involving 'over 100' young thugs happened at about 6.30pm last night.
"A 15-year-old male suffered an injury to his face and a police vehicle was vandalised when officers were engaging with the crowd.And the spokesperson added: "Information circulating on social media suggested a more serious incident had taken place, however, officers are keen to reassure the public that these rumours are incorrect.

Writing on the local Broughty Ferry Facebook page, one mum said many of the group were drunk and claimed there were reports that one youngster had been 'stabbed'. “Whatever is going on in Dundee with young kids is actually crazy. If you have kids between these ages please make sure they’re ok!”
“There are families using the beach and the behaviour is bad. Something needs to be done as why spoil it for everyone”He said: “I have requested a meeting of the council's community team, local councillors, and the police to find out what is being done about the littering and antisocial behaviour.Commenting on the violence, Chief Inspector Ross Fitzgerald said: “We want everyone to enjoy these open spaces safely. Disruptive and criminal behaviour is not acceptable.
