GUAYANILLA , Puerto Rico - U.S. Marshals said a 4-year-old boy missing from North Olmsted was found safe Wednesday afternoon in Puerto Rico . According to the Marshals, the boy’s father reported him missing March 16 after his mother, who is the non-custodial parent, did not return the child from a three-day visit.
Marshals said they began to trace the whereabouts of Evelyn Otero, 37, and eventually learned she likely fled to Puerto Rico. U.S. Marshals said Evelyn Otero, 37, is charged with eight counts of interference with child custody.On Monday, investigators said she was charged with eight counts of interference with child custody. Local Marshals said they joined forces with Marshals in Guayanilla, who on Wednesday located the mother and missing boy just a day after receiving the tip.
