Breaking news in Lancashire this morning
The victim was stabbed in Carnforth on Saturday evening and was airlifted to hospital for emergency treatment. He remains there in serious but stable condition, police have confirmed.
Lancashire Constabulary said it was called to reports of disorder on Lancaster Road at around 6.30pm when the incident broke out. A 14-year-old boy was arrested on the day.He has now been charged with attempted murder and will go before the magistrates court this morning. The teenager, who is from Morecambe, cannot be named for legal reasons.
A 15-year-old girl from Carnforth who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Meanwhile, police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to come forward.READ NEXT:
