UK: Boy, 12, arrested on suspicion of murder after woman hit by car in Sheffield
A 12-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was hit by a car in Sheffield.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service and South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene. The 12-year-old was found by officers shortly afterwards and arrested on suspicion of murder as well as suspected possession of a knife.Police remain at the scene around Hemper Lane, where the incident is understood to have taken place.
"A 12-year-old boy was located a short time later and arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a bladed article. He remains in police custody.”
