A Quiet Place part II in January 2020 and will probably remain so untilon December 22. This despite the film being concurrently available on Peacock. Either nobody subscribes to Peacock, or the effect of day-and-date releases on preordained biggies is minimal. It’s probably a little of both, but it again appears that the theatrical failures ofBen Affleck as Pierre d'Alençon, Adam Driver as Jacques Le Gris, and Matt Damon as Jean de Carrouges in 20th Century Studios' THE LAST DUEL.
opened with just $4.8 million domestic over the weekend. The medieval melodrama stars Matt Damon and Adam Driver as war buddies turned political rivals participating in what would be France’s last legally sanctioned duel over an accusation of rape made by Damon’s wife played by Jodie Comer.
