stars Yang and Gladstone alongside Kelly Marie Tran and Han Gi-chan. The film shows the dynamics of two couples navigating their own sets of obstacles. Angela and Lee are trying to have a baby through IVF but are struggling to pay for more treatments while Min needs to get married to stay in the United States but his boyfriend Chris rejects the proposal. Angela agrees to marry Min for his green card status and Min agrees to fund Lee’s IVF.
“We can get married. Now that we can get married, should we? Do we want to? As a millennial, there’s this burden of choice. It shifts the generational focus, and it’s looking toward the future,” he explained.
