Bowen Yang apologized to Ariana Grande for their kiss during a ‘Saturday Night Live’ sketch last month, telling her, ‘I opened my mouth too much’
Bowen Yang got a little too comfortable during an intimate moment with his friend Ariana Grande when she hosted Saturday Night Live.
Grande played Diane in the sketch, the ultra-competitive mother of Yang’s boyfriend, played by Michael Longfellow. When Yang’s character, Josh, stood up to Diane’s antics, the two shared a passionate smooch, which drew a raucous reaction from the studio audience. “It felt like what these people needed at that time,” she said. “It felt like what these characters required. I’m all for it.”
