At around 1:30 p.m., Soliman threw two Molotov cocktails at the group while shouting, "Free Palestine!", according to the unsealed indictment. A handwritten document was later discovered in Soliman's vehicle, investigators said, with the statements, "Zionism is our enemies untill Jerusalem is liberated and they are expelled from our land,” and further described Israel as a “cancer entity.” The indicment further alleges Soliman told officers during an interview that he viewed “anyone supporting the exist of Israel on our land” to be “Zionist" and that he “decide to take revenge from these people” and “search the internet looking for any Zionist event.” He added that he learned of the Run for Their Lives group through searches on the internet for "Zionist" events and identified the group "Zionist" group when he saw the flags and signs they carried outside the courthouse. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Boulder Police Department are continuing to investigate. Opponents of the resolution took issue with a line expressing gratitude for Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel. This comes amid. The resolution also emphasized the need to vet visa applicants aggressively and highlighted the dangers of not removing individuals who overstay their visas. Soliman is an Egyptian national in the U.S. illegally with two expired visas and reported public support for the Muslim Brotherhood. He also attempted to purchase a firearm last November but was unsuccessful. He previously told the FBI that he had been planning the attack for a year and was waiting until after his daughter graduated to act.
