On Wednesday, Karen Read, 41, of Mansfield, Mass., was charged in Stoughton District Court with manslaughter, motor vehicle homicide and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision. She was ordered held on $50,000 bail. The house where he was found belongs to another Boston police officer and is about two miles from O’Keefe’s own house.
