Inner strength has never been in short supply for Sakura or her daughter, Sarada, and Boruto: Two Blue Vortex just gave fans a great demonstration.
Much like any sequel series worth its salt, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has carefully avoided leaning on the Naruto franchise's legacy characters to bring the plot forward.
But in creating a story based on the offspring of Naruto's heroes, Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto knew that, sooner or later, classics like Sakura Haruno, now married into the Uchiha clan, would come into play. After a chaotic arc in which Boruto Uzumaki and his allies thwarted disaster at the hands of a dangerously-multiplying Mamushi, many were left exhausted and wounded, including Sarada Uchiha, with her medical ninja mother providing some much-needed care and comfort.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter #34 allows the primary characters to take a breather after Inojin courageously defeated the Mamushi swarm. While Boruto takes the Thorn Soul Bulb and is briefed on an imminent meeting with Code, and Kawaki is urged to speak with Dr. Amado, Sarada has her eyesight assessed by Sakura, knowing the girl runs the risk of going blind from Sharingan overuse.
But, being Sarada's mother, Sakura knows all too well how carelessly loyal she'll be to the boy she loves, reminding herself of her bond with Sasuke. In what seems like a non sequitur, Sakura shouts a returning catchphrase,"Shannaro!

But in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Sakura brought back the phrase with killer effect when, after breaking the news to Sarada about her vision, she knowingly pulls her daughter in for a long hug, knowing Sarada will use the power she's awakened for herself to help those she loves until she has nothing left. Sakura is seen walking away, wiping tears from her eyes, while Sarada understands this is her way of expressing just how fired-up she is. In aligning with Boruto Uzumaki, still widely believed to be Boruto Otsutsuki, Sarada has taken on a polarizing stance out of love for her childhood friend, awareness of the truth, and stubbornness worthy of the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura.
