In its 28-page motion for partial reconsideration, the petitioners, led by Fr. Christian Buenafe, also asked the Comelec to exclude Marcos’ name from the ballot list of official candidates for president. The petitioners argued that Marcos’ conviction “is a fact, and the judgment of conviction and its consequences are immutable and can no longer be modified, let alone denied.”
