Bond set for suspect accused of killing rapper known for 'Baby Shark' remix

A judge set bond at $2 million for a man accused of killing a rapper over the weekend.

Columbus police were called to the 300 block of West 3rd Avenue just before 5 a.m. on Saturday on an unknown complaint, police said in a media release. Upon arrival, officers were told someone had been shot.Detectives charged 24-year-old Mahamood Hassan with murder for the shooting.

Hassan reportedly matched the description from the witnesses and was also picked out of a photo array by them. Anyone with information is asked to call Columbus police at 614 645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614 461-8477.
