Moto GP: Francesco Bagnaia has taken the lead of the Championship standings after a disaster crash in Germany for Jorge Martin

Jack Miller ’s MotoGP future looks to be hanging by a thread, with reports suggesting the Trackhouse Racing Aprilia team is set to promote Japanese Moto2 frontrunner Ai Ogura into its vacant second seat for 2025 as the Australian is linked to a World Superbikes ride with Ducati.

A report on autosport.com suggested while a deal is yet to be finalised, it was “understood that Ogura has reached an agreement” with Trackhouse for next season.

“Probably we are one of the last teams to decide, and now by Silverstone I guess we will come up with the final decision.” Miller’s MotoGP options should Trackhouse look elsewhere look close to zero, with seven of the 22 seats yet to be confirmed for next year after 2020 world champion Joan Mir re-signed with the Repsol Honda team last week.
