Lata Mangeshkar, one of India's most popular singers, has died at the age of 92 after being admitted to hospital in Mumbai following a positive Covid test
The singer, who had appeared on the soundtrack of more than a thousand movies, was admitted to hospital in Mumbai in January after testing positive for Covid.Following her death, the Indian government has announced two days of mourning from Sunday, during which time the national flag will be flown at half-mast throughout the country.
